Naturopathic Medicine

Building from the foundation upward, your wellness needs will be tailored to your condition and situation. Traditional naturopathic medicine includes dietary, exercise, environmental, and emotional components. Homeopathy, herbs, flower essences, nutritional supplements, IV nutrients, cranial release and ozone therapies are incorporated as needed for each individual.

Dr. Nancy Doreo DC, ND

Biography of Nancy Doreo, DC ND CABNN DCN DCBCN Dr. Nancy Doreo earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic-West in 1986, and Naturopathic Doctorate at NUNM. She practices in Ventura County, California. Her specialties include: Applied Kinesiology, Clinical Nutrition, IV nutrition, Ozone therapies, Cranial Facial Release, McKenzie Rehabilitation, Cox-Traction, The Palmer Method, SOT, Activator, and veterinary orthopedic manipulation. She has over 2500 hours of post-doctoral studies. Additionally she is certified as a fitness instructor in Water Aerobics, Fit Ball and Pilates. Dr. Doreo’s clinical practice has focused on aspects of functional nutrition as applied to the overall health and wellness of her chiropractic patients. Her desire to “figure out what is wrong” has driven her to implement health strategies that set her apart from many other health practitioners in her area, and often succeed where others have not. Most of her interests lie with difficult cases such as autoimmunity and genetic disorders of biotransformation pathways. She was pursuing her degree as a Diplomate in Functional Neurology when she realized naturopathic medicine would serve her patients better, and graduated NUNM in 2021. She has personally authored and taught over 40 educational seminars and workshops for both the community and professional colleagues, speaking to groups of 10 to 300. For three years she taught Basic Swedish Massage at Ventura College. Actively participating in the Conejo Valley Nutrition Master’s Group has allowed her to work with many other medical disciplines over the years.
